Extended Warranty

At the top Buffalo Mercury dealer, West Herr Mercury, we know how important an extended warranty can be.  An extended service contract can save you hundreds or even thousands down the road. With the high technology built into today’s cars, repair costs have risen dramatically and will continue to do so. With just one major after-warranty repair, the contract could easily pay for itself. Mercury is proud of its reputation for reliability and superior engineering. However, anything mechanical could eventually require repairs.

Buffalo Mercury Extended Warranty Plans

If you lease or finance your Buffalo Mercury and the limited warranty runs out, you are responsible for all repairs. Auto extended warranties protect yourself from inflation later when you need repairs. Like insurance, if you don’t buy it, you’ll be looking over your shoulder. The most common repairs are A/C, transmissions, and electrical.

The New-Vehicle Limited Warranty

During coverage periods, authorized Mercury Dealers will repair, replace or adjust parts on your vehicle that are defective in factory-supplied materials and workmanship. Refer to the Warranty Guide for conditions that are not covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

Bumper-to-Bumper Coverage

Your Bumper-to Bumper Coverage lasts for 3 years unless you drive more than 36,000 miles before 3 years elapse. In that case, your coverage ends at 36,000 miles.

Powertrain Warranty

Your vehicle’s Powertrain components are covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first. The extended coverage applies to the Engine, Transmission, Front-Wheel Drive and Rear-Wheel Drive. For specific component coverage within Powertrain, please refer to the Warranty Guide.

Safety Restraint System

Your vehicle’s safety belts and airbag Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) are covered for an extended Safety Restraint Coverage Period, which lasts for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

Corrosion (Perforation Only):

Your vehicle’s body sheet metal panels are covered for an extended Corrosion Coverage Period, which lasts for five years, regardless of miles driven. The extended warranty coverage only applies if a body sheet metal panel becomes perforated due to corrosion during normal use due to a manufacturing defect in factory-supplied materials or factory workmanship.

Additionally, for your security, your new Mercury comes with complimentary Roadside Assistance coverage. Extended Service Plans are also available. If you have any questions regarding this or any of our other Warranty Plans give our Buffalo Mercury Service Center a call and one of our representatives will be happy to help you.
